His parents were calm, playful, completely tuned in to her—and to each other. There’s a special kind of tenderness that comes from becoming parents for the first time, and these two wore it beautifully. From forehead kisses to the way Dad held Wren like she was the most precious thing on earth (he is), every moment felt sacred.
We wrapped up the session with Wren nestled between them on a blanket, the sky just starting to fade to lavender. His tiny hand curled around his mama’s finger, like punctuation on a chapter they’ll never forget.

The Martins showed up with dusty boots, windblown hair, and the kind of energy that makes you want to ditch the plan and just follow the kids. So that’s exactly what we did.
This session reminded me that the best images don’t come from forced smiles, but by letting people be themselves. The Martins didn’t just show up for photos—they brought their story with them. And I got to witness it unfold!
